My dish was the salmon. We had the best experience. The food was delicious and beautifully plated. 5 star food. And 5 star service. The host was so kind and welcoming. Our server Amanda was incredible! Drinks were always full, she was kind and patient when it was time to order. I had a wonderful first time experience.

Had a wonderful and much needed breakfast, great coffee, awesome food, and very nice staff. Wish we lived closer. And tried all three hot sauces, all good but Papa Bear wins for me. Gluten free available too.

AMAZING! Food is absolutely flavorful! Must try the BISCUITS & GRAVY, the LOADED COUNTRY POTATOES with cheddar, bell peppers, onion & bacon and the Sweet Tea Huge portions, the BLT at the next table looked just as amazing! Top it off with some fresh squeezed OJ and call it a day! To complete your experience make sure to ask for TAYLOR she has AWESOME customer service and will offer up some great food suggestions

This Diner really is a hidden gem. Those who know ... know . My jouney has always been to find the perfect pizza restaurant, the most delicious bbq, the perfect latin plate and the perfect Breakfast restaurant. I will have to say that Black Bear Diner has easily won one of those quests. This Diner has very good breakfast options at awesome prices ... and the portions are HUGE! I have been here twice already and I have nothing but good things to say about this establishment. I ordered the Grizz Plate. You get a helping amount of food. Pancakes, bacon, ham , sausage links and hash browns. Everything was cooked to perfection. If you are a couple that doesn't eat alot ... one plate can feed two. I bought my little one the Happy Cub Cake and the presentation was unimaginable. Less than five dollars . My picture does not do it justice. I can't wait to bring more of my family and friends to this Diner. Hands down the best breakfast around.

This was a cool find. The first time I saw Black Bear Cafe was in NC. I'm super happy to see them in SA. Apparently there are several of them. This one is attached to a gas station. The service was a little slow but the food was great and the portions are big. Very filling. They do have deserts but be ready to pay 9 for a slice of pie. While I have paid 9 for a slice of pie before, this did not meet the 9 quality. Maybe 5-6 at best. Skip the desert but the food was good. Service was great and family friendly environment.

Our first time at Black Bear Diner! We had breakfast this morning and I am so pleased and still full! The enormous portions were absolutely delicious, the coffee was spectacular (that was a first for us- usually coffee at "diners" is sub-par at best) and our server Jennifer was amazing. Great atmosphere, food and service!
